To start any business, even street trading, please contact the Camera di Commercio, Industria Artgianato e Agricoltura (CCIAA)  (Chamber of Commerce, Industry craftsmen and Agriculture) competent for their territory of residence (if you need to start a business of street trading) or for the place where you want to determine the activity.

The chambers of commerce  have different offices responsible for different sectors. If you need to ask for information about opening any self-employed activity you need to contact  the Registro Imprese (Companies Registry office) or you can also contact the "Confcommercio", the Italian federation that brings together companies belonging to different categories.
